Nush interview on RI:SE today (Weds)
 

Did anyone else catch Nush's hospital interview with Kate this morning?

I didn't think it really told us anything new, but Kate asked her about the yoga video and they came up with a plan for Scott to do it instead in Lycra shorts (OK by me!)

The main thing I think was that Nush was really upbeat about everything. Kate was surprised that she was so positive!

GET WELL NUSH

I'll give you a brief synopsis at what happened. During the interview, Nush mentioned that she expects to leave Hospital next Monday and that Hoax callers have been phoning up the hospital claiming to be her friends and enquiring about her circumstances. The doctors had to move her away from a small ward with a couple of old ladies, to her own room due to the the amount of press and photographers.

At one point Kate asked Nush if she could see her leg which Nush agreed. Kate then lifted up the blanket where the camera showed her leg. It was covered with bandages around the knee and lower thigh, Nush then tried to make light of the injuries by commenting her leg looked 'fat'. Kate also looked at some of the get well cards and read out Gos's.

Nush remained optimistic about the future. She did say it could take two years for the injuries to fully heal.

Thank's AndyJK. I was up very early this morning and yet still missed it. A power cut at home seems to have cut my memory as well :laugh::laugh:

Nice to hear she is leaving hospital soon. I do hope things will only be put on hold for her so she can continue to enjoy the media fruits of being on BB.

This may seem tactless, since everyone will now be cancelling her contracts, what will the arrangements be for signing on at the local job centre

She could try for sickness benefit (or whatever they call it) but my understanding is that the DWP staff have as their objectives to find reasons why a person can not sign on as sick :shocked:

In 1993 a lady on long term sick was effectively told "Your not entitled to sickness benefit becase we believe you can work, there's a vacancy at the local college for a nude model you can apply for" :shocked::mad:

If Nush can not walk how will she be able to make it in every fortnight and how will she be able to prove she is actively seeking employment.


BTW I hear that the mugger has a nice social worker and a private jet for his expenses paid safari trip to Africa all ready to go.

I have this on video to watch later on tonight.

I watched it this morning and I wish her the very best for her recoverer, it will be hard work learning to walk again, she has youth and fitness on her side thankfully.

I saw it since I now have to be up early
