Tory leader

Romantic Old Bird 06-09-2007 06:10 PM

IMHO, he is a jumped up, public school snob, trying to be your average man in the street.

He annoys me more every time I see or hear him.

That just shows where my political sympathies are, and I suppose he has at least had a higher profile than his lucklustre and totally forgettable predecessors

You're thinking Michael Howard. :bouncy:

Is the current Tory leader an idiot. Simple answer. Yes. Like other Tory leaders in recent history. Sad fact of life is that most polititions of whatever party are idiots or take the public to be idiots.

This latest hair brained suggestion by Cameron to have 16 year old do "service" is the thoughts of a raving imbecile.

As if all 16 year olds were reponsible for all anti social behavour. He does not grasp the fact that any child 16 or under down to an age of toddlers can be anti social if parenting does not prevent it.

Any policy for curing anti social elements has to include youngsters of all ages not just the scape goat 16 year olds....

As a tory member I'd just like to say that the majority of torys aren't a fan of his. He deviates to the left to draw in voters whilst abandoning his right winged members. He comes up with clumsy ideas, not to better the country, but to criticise Labour.

The reason he can only come up with clumsy ideas is because the right wing of conservatism is completely unelectable just as the left wing loonies of Labour were unelectable.

Most people want common sense middle ground politics not a raging swingining pendulum of either extreme right or left.

Cameron unfortunately for him and his obsolete party cannot come up with common sense policies.

Before you jump on me. Neither can Labour or Libdems

No, I agree.
I just think that from the bad choice we've been given (all parties emphasising THEIR main points in all policies rather than looking at contemporary society and basing it around that) - that tories match my needs more than the other two + other parties propose.

If it had been Tony Blair or Gordan Brown that you had emailed they wouldn't have replied, because they are the worst sort of people on this planet.

Sorry I have to laugh. Don't be decieved. Polititions in oposition will go out of their way to help in order to gain supporters. If cameron were in office with a fully working majority it would be a different kettle of fish. He wouldn't need you.

Still no harm in taking advantage of our hypocritical politions while they are clamouring for power.....

sarahtheangel 07-09-2007 05:27 PM

well dont laugh  , he has done his job thats what your local mp is for . 1 persons vote isnt going to make him help . so he doesnt need me ok .

It's not one persons vote only they are after it is all the other votes that come from hearing a story that makes a politition look like thay are on the ball....Polititions only need us until they have power. Then watch out...Sit back and regret believing in them...
