The salon will back for a second series, it will be back on channel four on September 15 in its weekday slot of 6pm, will once again be managed by Paul Merrion, although the staff of the first series will be replaced by a completely new group.

I really enjoyed The Salon too and glad this is making a return to our screens. I thought Paul was very good so pleased he's back as manager.

Me too Di. I know there were a lot of people who didn't like Paul, but I always did and am glad that he is going to be in charge again. :thumbs:

I never watched the 1st Salon but my mum did but I saw clips near the end

I wonder what's happened to the 'stars' of the first series especially the fantastically OTT Brazilian guy whose name escapes me for now. I think he really thought he was going to be a star.

You must be on about Ricardo, peachy. I think he has just joined the list of C-List stars.

I'm glad its back for a second series - its an imaginative and interesting idea for a tv series and it really worked.:flower:

Big thumbs up for Paul as well. I think he was brilliant as manager!!!! I just wish John was in it still. I thought he was brilliant and what a hairdresser!!!!!!!!

Be interesting to see if they change the concept at all. Paul had the patience of a saint sometimes - look forward to seeing how he copes with the new staff.

There some weird people on that advert , especaily the man coverd in tattos and piercings! i just hope they dont try to over do it this year!:hugesmile:
