Test the Nation

OK, everyone - it's that time of year again! Time to find out just how clever (or not!) we really are!!!

Quote:

Saturday 6th September - 7.30 p.m. - BBC1

Anne Robinson and Phillip Schofield host another live interactive test, showing in two parts, which this time sets 70 multiple-choice questions on general knowledge. For viewers at home, the examination can be taken by using the internet, digital television, a mobile phone, a scorecard or, most simply, with a pen and paper. At the same time, six groups - cabin crew, domestic goddesses, estate agents, examiners, football supporters and plumbers - answer the same questions in the studio, where they are joined by celebrity participants.

Second part shown at 9.25 p.m.
Who's brave enough to take part and let us know your score?

:laugh:

I always make myself look and feel stupid doing this but nothing new there :laugh: so i'll be giving this another shot tonight :wavey:

BusyBee 06-09-2003 07:31 PM

We've got friends coming over so are all going to have a go. We are all putting £1 into the kitty and who gets top score wins

So I shall be doing my best in good boy scout tradition. (or possibly girl guide would be more accurate)

bbceleb1 06-09-2003 07:43 PM

Hi :wavey:

I recently got rid of sky, cause it was costin a bit too much! :blush:

And got freeview instead, so can i play interactive?

bbceleb1 06-09-2003 09:48 PM

Kaz 07-09-2003 11:46 AM

I thought it was harder than last year too!

My score - 57 out of 70. Not bad . . . . . but could do better! :laugh:

Come on everyone - time to confess!!!

:wavey:

BigSister 07-09-2003 12:12 PM

I got 35 out of 70:blush:

mcginn 07-09-2003 12:17 PM

I got 44 out of 70 :shocked: I was rubbish on the pot luck questions :blush:

Amy 07-09-2003 12:52 PM

I got 52 out of 70 :shocked::shocked:
I thought i'd do a lot worse than that :blush:

Maggie 07-09-2003 02:58 PM

58 out of 70 not to bad, gives me a 130 average

kaphc 07-09-2003 05:12 PM

I got 62 out of 70 on this which gave me a score of 142 - that seems a bit high to me considering I got 8 wrong but there you go!

It was a very good quiz and I really enjoyed it! Can't wait until they do the 2003 one.

:hello::hello::hello:

bbceleb1 07-09-2003 05:23 PM

:shocked: Well done Kaphc:thumbs:

thats a brilliant score! :spin2::thumbs::spin2::wavey:

BusyBee 08-09-2003 12:18 AM

I got 62 out of 70 too which gave me 139. OH beat me by one. I'm sure he cheated.

Mind you there were quite a few lucky guesses there. And I did confuse a goat with a ram:blush::blush: Well they both have horns dont they.

James 08-09-2003 12:54 AM

I didn't watch the show but I just did the online version and got...

me2 Kaphc and Busybee LOL

BusyBee 09-09-2003 12:20 AM

Perhaps it was because Aries the ram is the sign of the Magnificent Mr C so perhaps my mind (for one) automatically thought of a ram rather than a goat. :blush::blush:

Maggie 09-09-2003 01:46 AM

Ditto Busybee me too :blush: lol

Kaz 11-09-2003 12:20 AM

Nobody else owning up to their score on this quiz then?

If not, then that means that kaphc and BusyBee are officially the 'TiBB Clever Clogs', with James coming a very close second. :laugh:

Take a well-deserved bow, kaphc and BusyBee! :hello: :dance: :hello:
