Jade\'s perfume outsells Shilpa\'s S2
 

Did anyone see the article in this weeks heat magazine about how Jade's perfume Shhh! is still outselling Shilpa's S2 fragrance.

Just in case you needed reminding Shilpa Shetty was the rather forgettable Bollywood Z-lister who won CBB out of sympathy.

I don't think you need to be reminded of Jade. She is the most succesful Big Brother contestant of all time and the only one to experience real celebrity status.

i could we forget either of thoses two - Go jade, i think she needs to get her career back on the road!

Bollywood z-lister? Have you any idea how huge a bollywood star she was (and still is) before entering the house? Clearly not, if you said "z-lister". :)

And she didn't win out of sympathy. She won for having a backbone, standing up for herself and putting Jade Goofy in her place. Shilpa is still far more rich and famous than Jade ever will be worldwide no matter what the perfume sales are! :)

Only problem is, half the retailers aren't stocking it...

Shilpa is more famous internationally, but for a "nobody" Jade has done pretty well :thumbs:

Plus, Matt, all of her retailers are now stocking her perfume, and he books.

Jade is back inside every weekly magazine. She may not have as many deals as before but she is still somebody people want to read about.

Im glad jade is getting back up a tad i dont think shilpa was forgettable at all.

I think its because jades more well known than shilpa everybody can relate to jade more.

Wasn't Shilpa's perfume only sold in the Perfume shop though?

Jade's perfume - [shh] has been a successful perfume for a long time now. I read that the perfume was being taken off the shelves then, as Jade was under a cloud. I didn't know that it had been put back on the shelves though. I guess it must be a better perfume generally? Perhaps Shilpa's perfume may be bought by Indian women mostly. Perhaps it isn't as nice as 'shh'. So Jade is coming back then?

Jade's perfume is only sold in perfune shop - I believe Shilpa's is sold anywere, I have seen it in other shops.

My sister works in The Perfume Shop and she think's Jade's is way better then Shilpa's.

Ah it must have changed since I last went in, I think it was in July I went into the Perfume Shop and they said that Shilpa's perfume was exclusive to them.

Bollywood Z-lister? Who on earth told you that! Shilpa was quite big when she came into BB.

Shilpa had a special award for her HIV performance, but she wasn't really popular actress even though she wasn't a bad actress, nowadays Bollywood have become very overrated with pathetic actors and actresses, before it used have very versatile actors.

Shilpa is no way a Z-lister, l am not indian l even know that.She is quite famous there.
Maybe you made a mistake, you mean jade.
The reason why Jade's perfume out sold Shilpa at Perfume shop, is because her "Shh" only stock there,no other places sell it. As for Shilpa is sold in much more place so the sell is spread out more, u can even buy it on line.
Oh, by the way my Dad,my mum,my brothers,my sisters and my grandparent work in perfume shop ,they told me Shilpa's "S2" is way much better then Jade's "shh":dance2:

Shilpa is not a Z-list celeb, but what the actuality is that, she wasn't in the bracket of top 5 actresses, but not being in the top 5 doesn't mean you less of an actress. Its not hits that count, its acting credentials and pulling off your role, and that Shilpa is good at.

I have smelt both Jades' and Shilpas' perfume, and honestly Shilpas' is better. That said, Jades perfume is being sold for like £12.99, so at a price like that who wouldn't buy it and gift it to the unfortunate recievers of her perfume. And once something has been taken off the shlef and then brought back, it does take to a good opening, and what with the recent debacle in Jades' life, all the publicty helped her too :sleep:

And Shilpas' perfume reached the no.1 spot 3 weeks after its release, so that says something. It outsold Kylie and the Beckhams fragrance. However, you can't expect the perfume to stay at the top forever. Shilpas' fragrance is however one of the top 10 best sellers, according to the list created by the Perfume shop :dance2:


And the_stillness Shilpas' perfume is not being bought only by asian women, 3 of my mates work in the perfume shop and they've told me otherwise. :banana:

The article said Jade's perfume is out-selling Shilpa's fulls top. That means that even though Shilpa's is in more shops Jade's is still out selling her's.

Jade's 'Shh!' is constantly in the Top 10 perfumes sold in 'The Perfume Shop' while Shilpa's was never in it.

jades smells nice, my mums mate had it a while back.

I think Jade's smell's nice aswell. All my sister have it :thumbs:

I havent smelt Shilpa's.

I prefer Jade Goody as a personal in general and her perfume smells nice, my mum has it.

Perhaps the general public don't let petty arguments/ so called racism rows effect which perfume smells the nicest =]

As for Shilpa being a Z-Lister, or A-Lister, or any other list...
I know she was widely unknown by the British public and pretty much all TV presenters who interviewed her. And I don't think she's a particularly famous person in America at all. So she's only famous in the country she came from, and countries of a similar culture.

She's definitely experienced success, but I wouldn't say she's that high up on the lists in regards to the entire planet.

I did find it quite interesting when she appeared on Big Brother and showed what a sheltered life she'd been leading. On one hand, she revealed just how badly behaved, inappropriate, rude, filthy and ridiculous British youth/women can be. On the other, she said she'd never ever been talked to like that before, or seen people behaving like that before...which made me laugh, as to how clueless she was to the general publics behaviour.

The article you mention l have read too.Go and read it again it say Jade Shh..perfume outsold Shilpa S2 in the perfume shop, not over all.Only at the perfume shop.
Anyway is no point argueing who perfume smells better,as there is both Shilpa's fans against Jade's fans, l myself do like Shilpa's better is very good lasting.Your sister or your mum like jades better and my mum and sister prefer Shilpa's.So this can go on forever....just let the people decide who and what they pefer,no point argueing. is there?:wavey:

I saw loads of the stuff heavily discounted at the local chemist. They were having to sell it at cost price. I haven't noticed it selling like hot cakes.

It amazes me anyone would want to wear the a perfume that is promoted by a racist bully other than members of the British National Party. I bet Mrs Griffin would wear it if there is a Mrs Griffin.
