should we have a seperate tibb for younger members

hi just wanted everyones opion on this matter , As none of us really know who we are talking too should we have a seperate tibb for younger members ie: under 18s .

RockStar 13-09-2007 09:41 PM

No

It's not difficult to pretend to be a different age online, so why bother.

Matt 13-09-2007 09:42 PM

I don't see why we should.

Scarlett. 13-09-2007 09:44 PM

Nah
we would have to have serious smileys
like this: :colour:
and this: :dog:

stacey 13-09-2007 09:45 PM

No i don't i think then it would just be seperating us and basically telling us who we can and can't talk to yes its true we don't know who we're talking to but tibbs really good like that and its not as though a 14 year old is going out of their way to meet up with a 80 year old they have never spoken to before.

sarahtheangel 13-09-2007 09:47 PM

im not wanting to cause upset im looking after the younger members welfare thats all .

Dan_ 13-09-2007 10:46 PM

I don't see the point in having separate forums for younger people, most on here seem very responsible and aware of the risks online. It is after all only a forum rather than some chatroom and it's properly moderated so I don't see the cause for concern.

Captain.Remy 14-09-2007 06:21 AM

No we shouldn't, a forum is fo everyone, it would be a bad idea to seperate the forum in 2 parts.

Ruth*Star 14-09-2007 07:04 AM

We shouldn't. This forum is moderated and people are aware of the risk's online so i don't think so.

Ann 14-09-2007 09:18 AM

no we shouldn,t i love all the members on here as they are they arent that bad sarah they are very friendly people and it would spoil the forum to split the ages of members so i say no keep it as it is thanks

No way! I'm 13 and haven't had any problems with other members. We should all have a chance to mix. :bawling:

Billy 14-09-2007 03:34 PM

I think its really sweet that your trying to look after younger members, But i dont think theres any need

Harry! 14-09-2007 03:35 PM

im twelve and I havnt had any problems yet.

Sunny_01 14-09-2007 09:24 PM

I worry about younger members and how they can be influenced by those less honest members. I am not saying they can not hold their own just that they are more vulnerable to buying into peoples mind games.

Nicola 14-09-2007 09:28 PM

I'm older (nearly 26) and get on well with younger members of the Forum and treat everyone as equals so I can't see there being a problem with age. Nobody on here would describe me as a potential threat to my younger friends and I would do my best to help anyone who felt threatened.

Magic 14-09-2007 09:55 PM

No!

Sarah! I am sorry!
