making the best of life
 

god has given us one life why dont we make the best of it and not treat life as one big joke agree

easier said than done.

i don't treat life as a joke and most of us don't do that either. where do you get that opinion from?

I bet you did understood that people like us are lucky, life isn't a joke but I much prefer laughing than crying and I will make everything in order to laugh than to cry.

Its hard to enjoy life giving how this world and its countries are run. Yeh ok i will enjoy life a lot more. once all the terrorism is stopped, Once all the criminals and murders are caught, once ppl stop harming other ppl.

and on the matter of god giving us life, my mother and father gave me life. god, in my opinion, had nothing to do with it.

It does depend if you trust in God or not, it's just a point of view.
You can ejoy your life and being annoyed by terrorism and stuff. I do enjoy mine even if I'm scared about how will be our world in 20 years but I enjoy it now, I'm like that, I take what's going on.

I wouldn't let issues out of your reach affect your quality of life.
No matter what is going on in the world, you should appreciate the opportunities and journies available to you...
If you turn your back on those because of your concern for the entire planet, then it's a direct insult to all people with less chance for a decent life than you have.

Some people would love to be in a better position like many of us on this forum, and they wouldn't sit around not enjoying life due to worldly issues that are beyond their power to change.

Either make the most of your life, or get up and do something to try and help the situations you're concerned about.

As for god giving us life, im not sure that's a good topic opener considering we all have different views/beliefs...
But some of us, whether by god or not, haven't been given the option to make the most of it.

On the other hand, I do think there's a lot of youth out there who take life as a joke...
When I ask someone how their weekend went and they reply with "got drunk" that doesn't tell me what they did, what fun they had, what things they got upto. That just tells me that they killed off a few brain cells.

That to me is taking life as a joke, when you pass "drinking" off as an explanation to your entire weekend.

Not that im against drinking, I drink myself...but you shouldn't make it your life.

thats a nice dream, thinking that all those criminals and murderers and terrorists will stop doing what they enjoy doing and that is destroying evrything positive in their path. But the dream will remain that way im afraid, just a dream and never real

our mums and dads did create us, but many believe that there is a god and i believe that. we need to have faith in something and god is real if we truly believe in him

I agree with the making the best of it part. A piece of advice I only really started taking seriously recently.
But I'm not going to let it affect my future - better late than never!

I just enjoy my life the best way I can. I am small in size, but even though most tower above me, i just get on with things, even though i got ribbed about it at school

I am similar about taking things too seriously, but we are all guilty of that sometimes, specially my dad who gets worked up over nothing and i hate that part,but i have to live with it i guess

i say treat it how you want to - its your life and if you think lifes a joke then that up to you

I do, I'll always make the most of every experience and if there is something I want to do then I'll go out and do it. Obviously there is a lot of $hit going on in the world but I can't do anything to change that so I just get on with my life best I can, enjoy it and take it day by day.

Obviously I don't walk around with a gaint smile on my face all the time saying ''life is great'' as it's far from it and there will always be bad things if your life but it's part of life and you have to get on with it, I know how lucky I am to have my life now and I've recently seen first hand how other people live and it has made me appreciate everything I have a lot more.
