BIG Brother babe Chanelle Hayes has been forced to step up security after being targeted with a string of scary messages from a male stalker on the web.

And the 19-year-old blonde and her lover Ziggy Lichman, 26, are making sure she takes no chances when it comes to safety.

Posh Spice lookalike Chanelle, who last week moved into a plush pad in north London, has even hired a 24-hour bodyguard since being plagued with filthy postings on her MySpace account.

An insider said: “Chanelle has been bombarded by some guy who calls himself Andy.

“He has been sending her messages up to ten times a day.

“In his messages he told her how he fantasises about her all of the time and claims he genuinely believes that one day he will marry her. He also told her he thinks she is ‘the one’ for him and that he really wants to meet her.”

So that – along with a series of over-zealous fans – has led to the lovely lass stepping up security.

Our mole added: “This guy wasn’t the first person to take things a step too far.

“Chanelle has had a whole host of fans who get too obsessed with her.

“Even in Los Angeles, Chanelle had several blokes who started following her every move. It was then she first started to think about her safety.

“Don’t get her wrong, she adores the majority of her lovely fanbase, but the geezer known as Andy has taken things way too far.

“After lengthy discussions with Ziggy, her manager and close family and friends, Chanelle decided to splash the cash to make sure all angles of her safety were covered. She has even installed more than £10k worth of security alarms and CCTV cameras at her home.

“Most of her fan mail will now be checked, as will be the majority of her online messages, and her post will be heavily vetted too.

“And Chanelle will have a bodyguard by her side the majority of the time.

“He is a highly trained, much sought-after fella.”

Chanelle – who turned up to make a guest appearance at Halo nightclub in Leeds last weekend – had her personal bodyguard waiting outside the venue for her.

An onlooker said: “You can tell Chanelle is a top celebrity these days because she arrived in a plush car with her bodyguard by her side.

“She had a gaggle of lads literally foaming at the mouth to be close to her.”

Oh come on the 'safestyle PVC windows' (with the long messy hair) goes around Burnley with bodygaurds coz he thinks he is a celebrity

oh god, thats awful for poor Chanelle:sad: i thought Myspace was pretty safe:puzzled: evryone has to register to reply to keep people safe, i guess nothings safe really. at least Chanelle can afford to pay for the added security in her life, if she didnt have the money then she could be in danger:bawling:
