Dull - Yet you still remember her

Fake - Please elaborate... people always say she was fake but don't actually back it up.

Annoying - Yeah I can see how she would get on some people's nerves even though I liked her.

Predictable - Not that predictable. I thought she'd take Jade's vile bullying in silence but she stood up for herself and showed she is a strong, dignified woman who won't bow down to cretins like Jade, Jo and Danielle. But I guess you must have predicted that she would be such a fantastic housemate if you found her predictable. :)

Manipulative - Anything to back it up? Examples? I've never seen her manipulate anyone.


She acted the whole way through CBB5 to gain sympathy - Nonsense. She stood up for herself and totally flamed Jade on national television. She wasn't looking for any sympathy, she was strong and fought her own battle. People felt sorry for her because she was victimised, but she certainly never went out of her way to gain sympathy. If anything, it's the bullies who mis-treated her who were looking for sympathy, because they know the public saw them for who they are and it's ruined their public image.

Wasted, Suzie was boring yet I remember her.

Didn't like her but she is none of those things except annoying. She sttod up to Jade extremely well and she should be proud of herself for that!

Still hate her though.

She mustn't have been that boring then, or maybe you remember Susie because there was a hype made out of how boring people thought she was. It's like Jon Tickle, he bored people but he's a BB legend. And even if Shilpa is boring, I don't see how the OP was able to come up with so many aspects about her, if she was dull this thread title would've been considerably shorter as there wouldn't be much to say. :tongue:

Some people on here hate Shilpa and for some reason love Jade Goody and the rest of the bullies, so they make totally invalid and ridiculous arguments against Shilpa, with no evidence.

The fact is, she was bullied in the house and she dealt with it in the best way possible and I don't think anyone can deny that. She was the best housemate in CBB 2007 and she definitely deserved to win!

I didn't reall like her, but I did feel sorry for her. Jade and her co wasn't racist, but they did bully her and in the end she won with the sympathy vote.

I voted for her to win, not because I felt sorry, but because she was a funny, charming and classy woman, and a deserving winner. Sure, I'd rather Jermaine would have won, but they were both great.

I voted her to win, but she was my favourite from launch night until the final, so it was nothing to do with the bullying.

Shilpa is the nicest housemate ever. If she was really manipulative, she wouldn't have done what she did during the finale, to forgive Jade and the 2 other bitches.
She deserved to win and she was a brilliant housemate who went threw loads of hard things in the house more than somebody else.

I think the whole "you remember her so she can't have been boring" argument is weak...

Sometimes people are so boring you can't forget how ridiculously boring they actually were. Also, some of us just don't forget people, no matter what they're like.

I can't make comments on whether she was manipulative, it all depends on what was going on in her mind. If she was purposefully doing things to manipulate people then only she would know.

The same goes for being fake, nobody knows her so nobody knows what she's like all the time. So hence nobody knows if she was being herself in the house either way. Besides friends/family etc of course.

Everyone's predictable to some extent, not many people do something so out of the ordinary you'd have never thought it possible. Anyone with a certain degree of intelligence can predict what people will do/say in certain situations.

Dull/Boring/Annoying I guess I could agree with. She annoyed me in the sense that one minute she was the woman who stood up for herself and insulted Jade, the next she was the crying victim in endless interviews discussing how hard done by she was.

Personally I think she needed to grow a backbone. She's lead a sheltered life to some extent and had no idea how to fight her corner properly.

Luckily for her, in her life she doesn't need much of a backbone. Everythings provided for her and nobody would ever insult her. She doesn't live in the society that the general British public do, so she doesn't live by our "rules"

l voted for her to win not because l feel sorry for her, she got me vote because she is the best house mate in the house.
Some thinks she is annoying,fake and boring. Well to me she is none of that.
Boring- what are you expecting her to do in such a small place,so being a bitch ,swear, talking behind people back is not boring,if she does all that she is cast as a exciting person??
Fake-that is one thing l so disagree on,you cannot fake 24/7 in front of camera ,is just not impossible.(l actually thought Jade was fake at start ,being so like but her true colour came flying out)
Annoying-l don't seen to recall her being annoying,is it her laugh people is talking about.l actually think she has got a cute laugh
