Conservative or Labour?

Who will you be voting for if the rumoured general election goes ahead? Labour or Conservative?

Scarlett. 03-10-2007 04:35 PM

If I could Labour, just coz Dumbass Cameron is in my town doesnt mean I like him anymore

cepb 03-10-2007 04:40 PM

Conservative!

I hope Labout don't get in again. They've made a right mess of the country.

Having said that, I doubt Gordon Brown will call an election this Autumn anyway.

Callum 03-10-2007 04:41 PM

Labour.

The Conservative party annoys me.

Red Moon 03-10-2007 05:05 PM

There are three main parties and several smaller ones including the Greens etc....

Why aren't these in the poll?

Scarlett. 03-10-2007 05:06 PM

Coz they will never get in, only the Lib Dems have a slight chance

Captain.Remy 03-10-2007 05:07 PM

Conservative ! We got that party in France, the Sarkosy's one, all my family voted for him and I will vote for him too.

But if it was a hung parliment the Lib Dems could hold all the cards as to who does get in. The poll result is meanless if people who vote Lib Dem or even Green aren't taken account of.

Conservatives.

Here is the reason why:

A little from Column A, a little from Column B.

Shaun 03-10-2007 05:30 PM

I made a poll ages ago with lots of smaller parties, but obviously not all..

Anyway, I voted for the Conservatives...but I really do not want Cameron in power.

If Brown was leader of the Conservatives, I'd be very happy indeed.

I would want another Conservative as Prime Minister too. I don't think that David Cameron has what it takes.

True, but he needs to make it official. Then I'd be happy.

It virtually is. There isn't enough differences between the main two parties to make it worth voting for either of them.

Matt08 03-10-2007 07:23 PM

The reason why I didn't include the lib dems in the poll is because it's mainly conservative and labour who are having a sort of "row" over things at the moment.

Profound.

Conservative. I still think Cameron is a bit fluffy and weak, but his speech today has won me over. What I want is a Conservative Government, rather than a Cameron one, and I think that's what we'd get. The Conservatives are talking about giving power back to the people, and they've a huge record of it in the past. Labour talk, too, but they've never delivered sadly.

geoking66 03-10-2007 10:07 PM

See I'm at an odd end here, I don't really care who wins, but I want a socially liberal government, one that progresses, rather than what's going on in the US with Republicans and censorship, et alii.

Sunny_01 04-10-2007 09:34 AM

Conservative, for many reasons but the main one being I had always voted Conservative until Tony Blair came along, I thought he offered a world of promise and voted for his party.

What did he do, well he made a mess of the place, he did get some things right but failed to keep his promises or in fact to even try to achieve many of them, especially with regards to serving and ex military which is very close to my heart.

So Cameron for me, not for one minute thinking he will be any different but I like some of his ideas!

At least Cameron won't sell us to the rotten EU. That's enough to win my (virtual) vote.
