Gimme More Promo Video *Edit Apparently \"Official Video\"
 

Here's the promo version of Britney's video "Gimme More". Obviously the edited version wil be 10 x better and is released Monday, but I have to say I am a little disappointed. Will have to wait for the real thing I suppose.

Anyway, back OT, 'tis a good song, but the video is very disappointing.

Yeah, hopefully the final version will be a lot better. It's just when you compare it to her previous videos, Toxic for example, which were fantastic, it's just so lacking.

I feel like I have heard it forever though now.

I still know friends who haven't even heard the song yet. It's not played much on the radio...yet. I'm sure when it does I will be sick to death of it.

I don't love neither hate the video, the song is good, i think the propper vid might be better.

Me and my friends were saying that it seems as if we're the only ones listening to it! But it seems to be doing pretty well in the US which is a plus (although Britney has received publicity, whether good or bad). It's encouraging anyway, because the song's good.

Must admit though, I too am not so sure about the video. I know it's only the promo but I was expecting either something original, or if not original as it's difficult to do with that kind of song, then maybe more glamorous than Britney looks at present. To get her career back on track after the personal stuff is out of the way, she needs to focus on image as well.

I'm willing to wait until Monday though. :thumbs:

I agree that it's not the best Britney vid yet. The one were she did a duo with Madonna had the best video. Although slave4u was alright to. :thumbs:

I was expecting a sort of pulsating different colours kind of background when I first heard it. I dunno, I'd say Britney's still got it, she's looking mighty fine in that video :D

OK, apparently this is the official video for Gimme More. The same video was shown on TRL as the "official" video earlier today. Such a disappointing video does not do the great song justice.
