Cos yikes, what's it doing buzzing about Coronation Street's Maria?


Well, make sure you're sitting down for this shocker.

In an exclusive shock reveal, the Daily Mirror has reported that Corrie factory boss Liam Connor, played by Rob James-Collier, is gonna be a dad.

The expectant mum?

None other than hairdresser Maria Sutherland, played by Samia Smith.

A source told the Daily Mirror: "They're two of the best-looking people in the show and they seemed a perfect couple for this story. It has the usual many twists and turns."

Here at the Showbiz Shed we're biting our nails waiting to see what's going to happen.

Especially given that we're flying the Liam-Carla flag at the mo.

So, what does actor Rob say about all of this?

In an interview on the official Corrie website he said: "My mates think I'm lucky being able to kiss both Maria and Carla in the same week, but kissing on-screen isn't romantic and glamorous, it's awkward.

"It's my worst nightmare."

Hard life, Rob.

Maria pregnant...That's going to be interesting, two pregnancies there now.
