Great - just the sort of thing to get kids interested in science. Good luck Jon

I've just flicked over onto Sky One just in time to see the end credits for this :bawling: I had completely forgotten it started this evening  Did anyone watch it?

James 13-11-2003 10:40 PM

I recorded it but I haven't watched it yet.

It's repeated tomorrow at 8:00 pm on Sky One Mix, if you get that channel.

I was really disappointed with this show.

First of all, it seems to be aimed mostly at men - e.g. "The Lazy Man's guide to...." slot. Secondly the scientific "experiments" are like something out of FHM - blowing up a kebab, staring at topless women etc. Thirdly, there doesn't seem to be much science in it at all - no one explained WHY things happened like they did.

I switched off by the end of the first lot of adverts. By then Jon's slot about poppy seeds and bagels had been on so I figured I wasn't going to miss much.

Reminds me of Jackass in terms of the mentality of the programme.
