New Britney Spears album rush-released

The release of Britney Spears' new album Blackout has been brought forward by two weeks to avoid it leaking online.

Blackout is the popstar's first collection of new material since 2003's In The Zone and was originally given a November 12 release date.

The 'Toxic' singer will now release the LP on October 29. The lead single 'Gimme More' has also been brought forward, becoming available to download from next Monday.

A source told The Sun: "The demand for Britney’s new album has taken everyone by surprise. People are desperate to get their hands on it.

"Executives at the label decided to give people what they want, so they opted to get it on the shelves as soon as they possibly could."

I cant wait to buy this album rolling Stones have said that the album is fantastic and so have other reviewers... and i have heard some of her other tracks which have leaked and they are fantastic songs... and i think and HOPE that this will ressurect her pop carer :dance: finally she can have some good news after a terrible year... I can garrentee you that the album will make top 10 and hope no.1 and same with Gimme more

On Chart Show Tv Gimme more IS No1 in the downloads sureley this is a good sign that it will do well in the chart next week

the album aint very good

yeah it is i heard sum leaked track most are brill only 2 or 3 are not good but every album has atleast 2 bad songs on them Britney IS back!! plus rolling stones have said its a brilliant album

I think the whole thing is diabolical, dont get me wrongf I do love Britney. But they havent even done a new photoshoot for the cpover

She is going through hell at the moment and was then the picture looks wicked pure britney :thumbs: and im sure this album will cement Britneys comeback.. the only sad thing is she wont be coming over to the UK to promote it only in the USA as her manager said it will be to much for britney as the mess she is in right now..but hey as long as the albums coming out ontime it dont bother me althogh i would of liked it if she did come over....and Britneys comeback album is wayyyy better then Kylies everyone will buy her album because of sympathy
