Crowded Buses
Every weekday I get 2 buses into school and 2 buses home, every bus does be packed full of people. It loud, smelly and you have no room to move. When you reach your stop you have to fight your way through the people to get off the bus. Tripping over peoples feet, bags and trying to push people out of the way. Worst of all, this is either [1] First thing in the morning when I'm tired or [2] just when I'm finished school so I'm tired and just want to get home as quick as possible.

Pregnancy Shows
When my sister was pregnant these shows were constantly on the TV, and I mean 24/7. I don't get it, cause I'm a man, but they are just awful and sometimes very graphic. I saw some thing which a boy of my age should not be seeing at 5pm on a weekday when I'm having my dinner.

Irish Language
Don't get me wrong, I love Ireland and I'm quite patriotic, but people should just get over it. Irish Language is still a compulsory subject in R.O.I and you still need it to get into most collages/universities in Ireland, which I thin is rubbish. When you leave school you will never ever use it again. I have been learning it since I was in 1st class and I don't know any of it. I never use it and don't plan too. The government are just trying to flog a dead horse.

The majority will never use it again. The majority of Irish secondary school pupils are doing Ordinary level Irish. You don't even need it to join the Gardi now. I don't think it should go forever, I just think it should be compulsory. I'd rather learn another European language then waste time learning a language that isn't even spoken in it's country.

Their is a national all Irish Radio & TV station for the small minority who do speak Irish, mostly in the west of Ireland (However that Irish TV station has to use English subtitles in hope to attract an audience, and some of the programmes are in English). However, I think you will find that those who speak Irish will mostly use English to communicate. I'm sure more then 1 million can speak Irish, but I'm 100% positive that a tiny few out of that number, and mean tiny tiny few, use it all of them time. Even some gealtachs have cut down on the amount of Irish is to be spoken. One of the biggest gealtach's, can't remember the name now, cut down on Irish classes from 80 mins to 40mins a day.

Ditto everything you said Aaron. It drives me insane that I have to sit in Irish class 5 times a week, when I'm not even using it and could be spending time on subjects I actually need points in. The uni thing is stupid, like you said we will never need Irish so why therefore should we have to pass it to get into a uni we want? Ridiculous. I've been doing it since I've been 3, 14 years later I know nothing.

edit:I'd put Robbie Williams and Westlife in Room 101 too.

Michael Winner - for reasons made clear in the thread about annoying adverts.

This annoying little Asian boy on the bus - He always pushes in the bus queue, and stands at the front of the bus, in the middle of the alley, with this huge bag on his back, and stares at you when you try to push past him. Even when there's plenty of seats he'll STAND THERE. Grr.

Cigarettes - Eww. Yuck. Smells terrible. Kills. Pointless habit.

:)tom:) 14-10-2007 06:15 PM

adverts - they make me wanna scream when its a show where someones gunna b kicked off like when they do it on antm

Sam 14-10-2007 06:19 PM

Westlife - Go away already, please.

Welsh Hatred of English - Bit of a metaphor i know but Being an Englishman in Wales, i know how much some of the welsh hate the English and its really annoying.

Slow People - I'm not being funny but there is no need to be slow.

Dizzy 14-10-2007 06:39 PM

OMG. I love Room 101. <3

Chavs - Can't stand them. Their language, ugh... Very annoying! And the whole MC music and their clothes... =/

Adverts - What is the point in them? So annoying. It'll get really interesting in a programme, and then - bam! Their they are, they repeat over and over, and over and over, and over and over again, can't stick them!

People ringing - I can't be bothered answering the phone. The phone rings, I'll run downstairs, the phone stops ringing just as I reach it, go back upstairs, oh my.. the phone starts ringing again, run down stairs again and then it stops, then you have to dial their number and oh noez - the line is busy, I wonder why...

Sam! 14-10-2007 06:48 PM

Ciggies, CHAVS oh god dunt get me started on chavs!!!
