Cowell: Dannii has seX Factor SIMON COWELL has admitted ogling Dannii Minogue’s BUM and confesses to fancying his fellow X Factor judge.
He says: “Dannii reckons there’s a picture on The X Factor website where I’m staring at her bottom.
“I probably was . . . but I think most people would if they were sitting next to her. She was probably sticking it out on purpose.
“Every guy in the world fancies Dannii. She’s become a sex symbol since joining the show, and the contestants love her. She’s got that Sophia Loren, movie-star sex appeal, I love sitting next to her.”
Simon, 48, admits to flirting with Dannii but says he never steps out of line – which is just as well, given that he is with long-term partner Terri Seymour.
Dannii – 36 today – has joined this series as the fourth judge with Simon, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne. She is mentoring the boys, Simon has the groups, Sharon the girls and Louis the over25s.
War Dannii and Sharon are said to be at war behind the scenes, a rumour which Simon, below, does little to quash. He says: “Dannii coming in has changed the group dynamic. With her and Sharon it’s not as bad as people have been saying. They actually seem to be quite civil with each other.
“But there is a competitiveness between them, particularly with Sharon because she was on the show before Dannii.
“I think they both desperately want to win. Sharon has never won and Dannii is new. They’ve both been given the young categories and we’ll see who does the better job.
“Sharon’s been managing acts for years but Dannii’s more of a fan of the show. They’re very different.”
Yet he adds: “What I do know is that I now couldn’t imagine doing the show without Dannii on it. I think we’d worked as a threesome for too long.
You become too settled in your roles.”
