\'X Factor\' beats \'BB\' to Nickelodeon award
 

The X Factor has won the best reality show gong at the first ever Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards UK.

The ITV1 singing contest beat off stiff competition from Big Brother, Britain's Got Talent and I'm A Celebrity to take home the prestigious award, which was voted for by Nickelodeon viewers.

Ant & Dec were named best TV presenters at the east London awards ceremony, while teen comedy Drake & Josh beat Doctor Who to the best TV show prize.

The Disney Channel's High School Musical won two gongs, with Zac Efron being declared best TV actor and Ashley Tisdale being named TV best actress.

McFly, who hosted the awards ceremony, took home the best band prize, while Avril Lavigne's 'Girlfriend' was declared best music video.

The Simpsons Movie beat Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix to the best movie prize, but Emma Watson made amends by scooping the best movie actress award for her Potter role.

Johnny Depp was named best movie actor for his turn in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, while Mr Bean's Rowan Atkinson was declared funniest person.

I think XF deserved to beat BB , its been much better.

It's all deserved, I'm happy with almost the awards.
Though i didn't think XFactor would beat BB.

Well there some of my fave programmes so i don't mined well done x factor.

As a BB mega fan, I would have preferred BB won, even if XF has been slighty better, so far.

I don't mind who won out of them, I luv them both.

It deserved to win much more than boooring Big Brother 8 :cheer2:

BB sucked this year, until it comes back with a great series again I actually hope that it doesn't win any awards. It doesn't deserve it.

Glad XF won it. It's been great so far, this year.

It wasn't great but it was wasn't the worst ever, IMO.

Good this years big brother was so **** x factor is 1000000000000x better

its a kids award. kids watch x factor. they dnt watch BB
