Nikis a letdown
 

Niki was good last night, but seriously, shes not gonna be as good as that. Wait till she gets an uptempo I swear she will be horrific.

I agree i think ballads are her strong point, and she may have peaked too soon.

Shes gonna be a Lakisha from Idol, great first performance, but cant see her doing good in the long run

She was a bit off track in certian places of the song, but her song made my evening last night. She was still great with the vocals. Niki to win!

I can't see her winning it, i don't see who her audience is, i dont think she will sell many records in a long term career. Dont get me wrong i love her, but i cant see her having a string of number ones.

I disagree. She was the best singer last night by a mile. I think if you give her any song she will sing it with out any mistakes. She has the best voice IMO, the only thing that's going to stop her from winning is the people who are voting, i.e the teenage girls, who will be voting the guys as they will tihnk they are fit.

People like Andy and Daniel will make the top six because of their looks and decent enough voices. I wouldn't be surprised if they were both in the semi-final, to be quite honest. Andy was pleasant but boring last night. Daniel was dire.

Nicholas was appalling in XF2, but managed to get to seventh because he was attractive. :rolleyes:

Nicholas was quite good at some songs

Exaclty, they may be good looking, but are dull, boring and really ent that good at singer. Where's Niki has a brilliant voice, and will only get better, like Leona last year. God knows how she managed to win, what with being a girl and all lol.

Some people out there who are voting need to look past someones looks, as X Factor ent about looks.

Was still a good one. He was good on the tour aswell.

Matt she was praised by the judges? Even Simon said it was a compliment, and maybe if she had performed when the show was supposed to start things may have been differnet.

Precisely... Looks get some people further than they should do by a long way - Nicholas, Ashley and Ray all spring to mind here (as well as this year's "hotties").

I went to see the tour and admit he was good... But he was nowhere near as good during the lives shows. Maybe it was nerves, maybe it wasn't - he still got further than he should have because of the 'young girl' voters.

But the guys this year ent even that hot lol. It's soooo annoying I can't stand shallow people lol

If Futureproof looked like the huge group of students and sang like they do themselves, I doubt they'd even be in the live stages - they might get through a couple of weeks, but nowhere near as far as Futureproof will.

I know she was Amazing Last Night, so i hope all go's well for her

Anyways, I disagree with the opening post. Her perfromances:

'I Will Always Love You' - fantastic and suited her well.
'Natural Woman' - painful and didn't suit her voice.
'One Moment In Time' - good and suited her well.
'Nothing Compares To You' - fanominal and suited her voice suberbly (maybe a little safe).

We can only make judgements on her coming performances after we've heard them I guess - she seems to be on the money we she's singing Whitney...

Her performance was awesome and it was efforltess. There was one point where she had to go up to a very high note then come staight down again. She did it with ease. She'll be like Melinda from AI. She's a natural.

Yep, she sings with emotion, which is something none of the others do. Me thinks she is the next Leona Lewis, she ent as good as her, but she is defo like her.
