Let's see who can raise their post count by the most by midnight! You have to do sensible releavent posts.

Matts right, there are certain sections of the site that if you post in them will not rise your count.

Admin made this decision when because people were playing counting games and their posts were increasing like 1000 in a couple of days. It was getting beyond a joke.

I think that it works well, you have to post sensibly for a good post count

The majority of forums have this rule in their "chat and games" section or equivalent...
Something you'll have to get used to im afraid.
Some even have it in there "Greetings" section for new members, as a lot of people say "hello" to new members, just for the sake of more posts.

The only forums I see without it are usuaully amateur forums setup by kids.

We don't need that type of idea over here. Just you have to think more about your posts than about your post count, it means nothing. You can post 1000 pointless posts or 50 brilliant ones.

Yeah i'd rather see 50 Well thought though posts than 1000, 1 worded posts with nothing but a smiley.
