The girls will get £1m each to design their own range

The Spice Girls are set to rake in £1m each in a deal with a Norwegian furniture giant.

The group will design their own sofas for a new 'modern woman' collection, with prints that highlight their trademark style.

'It can't fail to work,' says and insider. 'The girls have something so individual about them.'

The company is hoping to get a touch of Spice across an array of products.

'As well as tasteful animal prints, floral wallpaper and patterned lampshades, the plan is to extend the modern, uber-cool range to include luxurious mirrors in every colour of the rainbow,' a source tells the Daily Star.

'Everyone is dying to see what the girls will come up with because they are so creative. They each have a unique image so it could be anything – from leopard-print beds by Scary, to pink fluff courtesy of Baby.

'And it would be amazing to get into Beckham's bed!'

Victoria Beckham, 33, Geri Halliwell, 35, Mel B, 32, Emma Bunton, 31, and Mel C, 33, have already signed lucrative deals with Tesco and Victoria's Secret.

They'll be designing cars and nuclear power stations next...
