The Celebrity Big Brother alumnus was filming for an exercise DVD at a studio in Chiswick, west London, on Saturday.

She apparently walked backwards into the strong light which set fire to her blonde locks.

A technician was on hand to smother the fire as she panicked. Lloyd was unhurt, except for her singed hair, but was said to have narrowly escaped serious burns.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday: "The technician was a true hero. Without his prompt action she could have suffered hideous burns. She owes her continued good looks to this guy."
