Hollyoaks - Anyone else finding it boring?
 

I love Hollyoaks but at the moment I think it's really boring.

A few months ago it was great with Warren on trial and Claire lying, the twisted relationship between Melissa and Hannah and the hillarious Michaela/Sasha/Fletch love triangle.

Now all we have is the boring and icky incest storyline, Amy and Ste, Tina starting a new job (yawn) and Jackie moaning about Tony's illegimate child.

Tell me I'm not the only one...

Yeah, but its picking up again. They are taking too long to get into a big storyline.

I loved it when McDean was on going, Craig and JP had awesome onscreen chemistry then they had the Clare storyline, and i loved that, when Clare went it was saddening, i have to admit, i haven't watched in 2 weeks.

I love Hollyoaks too but at the moment it is boring, the storylines are just boring compared to the storylines a few months ago

I love it atm. I love getting to know the new students and Im glad to see JP being happy for change

I kinda went off it after the whole Amy/Josh thing. I'm well into EE now.

Hollyoaks is great but it needs a pick-me-up at the moment i think...it is a little boring!

Incestual relations = Something you rarely see anywhere in a soap these days.
Though they could make it a little more exciting, they're handling it wrong if you ask me.

Amy and Ste is quite boring I must admit, and im growing pretty tired of Tony and Jackie's relationship problems...things look good, then they go bad, things look good again, then they go bad, things look good for yet another time, OH LOOK they've gone bad again.

There's only so much time I can spend on hoping a couple get back together/sort things out before I stop caring.

Im sure things will pick up.

I cant stand Ste, so I hope this end between them soon. Tony/Jackie are annoying too.

I cant wait to see more of McQueen's ths Xmas though.

I agree it's had a drop is quality recently. It hasn't got a big storyline going on like the Claire/Warren/Justin stuff or the JP/Craig stuff, so it seems a little slow going.

I'm sure they'll be a big storyline coming up for OB though that will lead to his departure early next year.

For me it definately has. I only started watching it a few months ago when it seemed to be at it's best but I've stopped watching it altogether since all that Claire stuff's finished.

i love hollyoaks BUT yeah at the mo it is quite boring... BUT it will pick by xmas as Myra has a secret son and he wants revenge on her she had him when she was 14 and left him in a church as her mum told her to... so this sshould be good for a few months :spin:

I just miss Hananh, she is the best thing about Hollyoaks.

I suppose they are going through a slow patch after a few months of good viewing, It is boring at the moment but it's gonna pick up i think.

I suppose after a good while of massive storylines it's just going through a slightly less dramatic spell but I'm sure there's another interesting storyline just around the corner.

The on-off thing between Tony and Jackie is all rather tiresome, can just see Mercedes getting pregnant from the one night stand with Tony.

Amy and Ste thing is just unrealistic.Where are they going to find all the money from to pay for electricity? Especially with him playing on his bloody X-Box now :rolleyes:.

Even the more well off/established soaps such as Eastenders have their "boring" moments...

If everything was constantly "epic" and "dramatic" then we'd become immune to it, basically becoming so used to it we really wouldn't care.

Nothing major is happening in Eastenders right this very second, nothing that's majorly interesting.

Though granted, they've just had a quick sucession of the Max/Stacey storyline after the Ian/Steven storyline, soon followed by more good storylines to come. So they definitely know what they're doing.

Storylines are all about build up...
You have to set the scenario for the story first, before it gets interesting.

I read there is a new McQueen member arrving closer to Christmas and that their will be some bigger storylines coming up. I'm finding it boring at the moment, the whole Beth and Rhys thing is really tiresome, not to mention Tina, Jacqui and Tony... =/ But hopefully things will pick up again =)

I dont even bother watching it now the jp and craig storyline and hannahs annorexia storyline are over.

The JP and Craig storyline bored me in the end, it just went on and on lol

I know but i thought she was so fab when she was hiding her eating disorder and also getting friendly and sneakier with Mellissa.It will never be that storyline again.It will just be her recovery now.
I really liked the jp and craig storyline,mainly because there fit lol.
But yeah i just find it boring atm,the whole jackie and tony story line is boring me and the fostering stuff with frankie,that bores me too.

Yeah that is boring. And the whole Ste and Amy thing is boring.

I can't wait till Hannah comes back, I have missed her :bigsmile: and her hotness :bigsmile:
