Mac Theme for Vista?
is there such a thing and would anyone recomend using it thanks in advance xxxxxxxxxx
|
I have a mac so I don't have problem of wanting a mac theme. The best person to answer you question in Matt. He is always trying to turn his windows machine into a mac.
Good luck. BTW... Mac's look expensive, however when you look at what you get they are just as competitively priced as a PC. Especially the laptops. There are not many 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo's for under £900 and the MacBook is one of them. You can even dual boot them Windows or OS.X! |
ok thanks il wait for him to reply :) X

I thin last time Matt used a mac theme on his PC, it messed it up and he had to reinstall his OS.
|
Yeah, I asked him about doing it and he completely disagreed. It messes up your system.

There seems to be people working on it on the internet. If you search for mac themes for vista quite a lot comes up. It might be worth poking around some of the theme forums and vista via google.
|
I searched for a vista theme once, and it began messing up on my system. The browsers would freeze and turn this weird colour, as well as other things I was using; MSN, Word..etc
|
I dont know what vista is.. sorry :(

Anyway, my advice with the full-on theme thing is: DON'T!!! It may look cool, but it's more bother than it's worth. I can, however, recommend a piece of software named RocketDock, which is basically a Mac-style dock application launcher. It's free, and there are a number of customization options and you can choose different skins for it. You can download it from http://www.rocketdock.com. Enjoy! |
aww thanks matt :) X
