In this day and age celebrities are plastered all over the tabloids, magazines and the media. They court the media and paparazzi when they have something to plug or want some extra coverage. Most celebs lap up all the attention and media exposure but then change their minds in a flash saying that its an intrusion to their private lives.

Celebs get paid extortionate amounts of money but can they really have it both ways?

If it all goes wrong then they deserve what they get from the press. Like the saying goes if you live by the sword you die by the sword.

A good example of this is Jade Goody who the press seem to love and she loved the attention. Now she is a has been after the Celebrity Big Brother 5 bulling affair she only gets bad press and deserves every column inch of it.

Yes than jade starts the feel sorry for me stories about her miscarriage.Trying to get everyone back on her side.

Celebrities are idolized and paid huge amounts of money for simply being famous. Yes, sometimes, maybe they have talent such as acting or singing or dancing etc, but celebrities who are famous just because they are famous eg. Jade Goody, Chantelle etc. do not deserve to be paid that much.

I love celebs, even nearly more than my family and all my friends. I really want to be one some day. They all deserve to be famous because they're just so great! And no, Im not joking.

Agreed, but do they have the right to court the press when they want publicity then turn round and complain when the media tell a bad story or invade their privacy?

I wouldn't worry, you've got the right attitude to be a "celeb" who craves seeing their daft face plastered all over the papers for any thing.

I have no specific issues with people having celebrity status. what I do have issues with is them abusing that status and crying when things dont go their way.

They flaunt for the press then complain that they have no privacy, why is it this only happens to those celebs that actually court the press. there are some big stars who you dont see with their lives splashed across the papers, why? because they are private when it comes to their private lives.
