LOUDMOUTH Janice Dickinson is at the centre of a betting fix, the Daily Star can reveal.

Shady gambling syndicates are planning to cast thousands of votes for the acid-tongued fashion queen to make sure she wins the show.

Janice is currently 6-1 for the crown and the dodgy gangs are putting as much money on her as bookies will allow. One source said: “They are maximising their potential winnings now ahead of a bid on Friday to swamp the phone lines and make sure she wins.”

Christopher Biggins, 58, is the current favourite at 4-5 but the syndicates believe if he has a phone vote lead it can easily be overcome. Betting insiders say they expect Janice’s odds to plunge before Friday’s final.

The 52-year-old ex-model has proved a huge signing for ITV bosses, who believe she is the biggest personality in the camp.

And she has been winning an army of telly fans since Day One.

One top executive said: “It was a risk bringing Janice in because her profile in Britain is not that high.

“But she has become TV gold and, without doubt, one of the best contestants we’ve got this year.

“Everyone can’t wait to see what she does next. There’s certainly no holding back where she’s concerned.”

The gambling source said the syndicates have been placing thousands of small bets at different bookies and on websites so they do not arouse suspicion – amounting to a total of almost £1million.

He said: “If they tried to put a million pounds on all at once, two things would happen.

“One, no bookie in the world would take the bet. But the bookies would also slash their odds on her, making backing her less profitable. It’s a fine line to tread.

“Even so, as the potential losses mount up, bookies around he world will have no option but to lower her odds.”

Big Brother has an outside body checking the votes for this sort of thing, hopefully the people on this show have someone doing the same thing. If that is the case then the scam will fail.

Dont want Janice to win,she is so fake why does she deserve to win the title?:shrug:
