I'm not that keen on it. I like the splat idea but it would be better if it didn't obscure the eye that much.

It wasn't expecting much. I suppose it's a change from the susualy plain star in the centre and I suppose it could work well on screen.

I think the idents might have random celebrities shotting purple paint over the eye or something x]! Could be good...
