was this man dead or was it a fraud what happened and what a story

It's a very long story that get's more confusing by the day:puzzled:

defnitely surely though somebody would have caught them out 5 years and their sons thought their dad was dead shocking

Well it looks like now the sons are involved as well sending money to her bank account over their.

ya maybe i doubt it though they semmed very angry and shocked i wonder why he handed himself in

Perhaps he couldn't go on lying anymore!

very strange though they must have benn very badly off financially

It isnt really that complicated. I will break it down.

1. Man with canoe disappears without a trace
2. coroner declares him dead over a year later and wife cashes in life insurance
3. Wife moves abroad, and loe and behold her hubby appears at her side in a photo taken over the last 12 months
4. for some reason man reappears and pretends he has amnesia hands himself into police
5. police realise he and his wife have been pulling a big con on them, the insurance co and sadly their children
6. police arrest and charge him
