BB3 Voting Strategy

From the way Endermol / C4 handled B1 and BB2, we need a strategy to make sure this is handled fairly.

So I have been formulating this strategy (which means it may go out the window after day 1  )

The philosophy is that we must protect the housemates from Endemol / C4 Excesses and from themselves and minnimise harm.

1) We do not pick a favourite until the final "vote to win"

2) When someone is nominated, we vote for the one who is handling the experience least well (Remember Penny!!!)

3) If anyone is ganged up against, we should vote to evict the person they are up against. (Paul)

4) Burgening romances should be split up ASAP, for their own good (I expect a lot of debate over this one, but another BB romance could reawaken media interest in H&P who need space)

5) any conflict between these reccommendations shall be referred to the forums for arbitration.

Interesting concept, but I'd prefer to wait and see what the characters are like before passing any judgments. This is from someone who voted for Helen to go when she was up against Penny and then turned into a massive Helen fan! :xyxwave:

Besides, shouldn't we vote how we want? Part of the fun is disagreeing with each other sometimes.

I came into Big Brother 1 because of injustice.

At the end of BB1, for me it turned out that Nasty Nic was not the true villain, but some faceless bureacrat that denied a life saving operation to someone that needed it because they had Downs Syndrone

I have a neice with Downs Syndrone.

Because of this injustice, I tuned to BB2 incase a similar story was unfolding. (Not this time thank heavens).

But then Endermol become the villains, Elizabeth was a rank amateur. Enermol / C4 took advantage of a situation and set Paul and Helen UP

Paul showed that under the Laddish persona he wanted to project, there was a gentleman. (The archytypical lad would have taken advantage of Helen)

I hear the stains of True Colours by Phil Collins

Endermol have shown they can not be trusted.

We have the ability to frustrate the script provided by the selective C4 editing. We should all use that power wisely to protect the vulnerable wannerbees woho wil be at the mercy of the C4 cutting room floor.

Oh that the BB producers had stuck to a prior assertion that BB2 would have been the last.

We must become one with the currents of cyberspace as we campaign in cyber space and become true Cyber Warriors.

Ok Sticks, if you say so!

I hear the strains of "I'm going slightly mad" by Queen!

We have seen

We have Heard

The perfidiousness of Endemol is blatently obvious

We must deal with the nomination votes in such a way as to produce exit strategies that cause the least harm, with maximum frustration to Endemol.

This is opperation Pay Back, which was trailed on the C4 Reach forum.

Do you think we can re-run this strategy for BB4 ?

Romantic Old Bird 01-03-2003 07:53 AM

It didn't work then and it won't work now Sticks.

Accept it.

We are pawns, here to be manipulated.
