Kerry says smoking wont harm her baby
 

Pregnant Kerry Katona has hit back at critics who have shamed her for smoking.

'I have one fag a day and I don't think you can say that's doing the baby any harm,' she argues.

Smoking during pregnancy has been linked to a variety of health problems including premature birth, low birth weight, cot death, miscarriage, and breathing problems in the first six months of life.

When you smoke, carbon monoxide gets into the blood stream. Every cigarette disrupts the blood flow to your baby for about 15 seconds.

But Kerry, 27, who is expecting her fourth child, says she's being very responsible.

'I don't agree with people smoking their heads off and getting drunk and falling out of nightclubs while they're pregnant - that's totally wrong,' she tells OK!

As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I stopped smoking and intend never to smoke again!

One fag a day isnt bad when your not pregnant but while so everything you put in your body effect the baby you carry :bored:

Im the same Kiz i stopped as soon as i found out with both pregancy (should not have started again after jake but did) i found it easy to quit as i new i had to help the baby inside me.
Some people just may not be able to that..........
