Kelly Clarkson's American Idol live show performances.

I was just listening to them on youtube, and Kelly's version of Without You, in my opinion [bearing in my mind I'm not a leona fan], wipes the floor with Leona's.
Although Kelly forgets the words to It's Raining Men, I like the way she performed it, and although I do currently prefer Kim's, Kelly's is unique.

I'm slightly biased since I'm a huge Kelly fan, but these are incredible. It's hard to believe this was seven years ago, and how far she's come.

What does everyone else think?

I'm a huge fan of both but Leona put shivers in my spine and did it on a weekly basis. I have all of their performances on my ipod though!

I agree about Without You though, Kelly's version of that was definitely better than Leona's. But Without You was probably Leona's 2nd weakest performance whilst Kelly's version was her best.

Kelly's fabulous, but I've always been a much bigger Leona fan. I watched both of their live performances, in American Idol and TXF - and each and every time with Leona I was left speechless. She is such a talent for this country, and is so down-to-earth at the same time that's it's truly admirable. There's room for the two of them in the industry, so there's no reason why they can't just get on with their respective careers.

I like them both - think they are both very talanted and its people like them as well as will young that keep these shows going

Kelly has shown her diversity Leona hasn't. I'd like to see Leona tackle something like Since you've been gone.

I dont understand i dont like kelly's version if without you. Never have, and this was before Leona ever appeared on the scene, but i agree that her virsion of IRM is better than Kimberleys.

I dont like the song without you one bit but kellys is a great version imo and stronger than Leonas.Saying that Leona is undoubtably the best thing to come out of any UK reality talent comp and is obvious she has a great career ahead of her however i just think Kellys more versatile she can sing a lot of songs that Leona cant and i think she has more personality than Leona
