Lauren Alesha Masheka Tanesha Felicia Jane Cooper, a fictional character in The Catherine Tate Show, sadly died after falling from a waterfall while kayaking. Catherine Tate Christmas Special.

Seriously though, Lauren was one of my favourite characters in Catherine Tate show and I'm sad to see such a good show end.

I'm glad she is dead because the character was getting a bit boring and I think it's best to remember a good character as really funny rather than that character who spoiled the show because she wasn't funny anymore.

I don't think she's ending the show, just putting a "pause" on it, as she said.

But the death was hilarious. :laugh3:

Has the Xmas special been on?

She said on Jonathan Ross that there will be no more series of the show. She wants to concentrate on movies, Doctor Who and new material. I guess that does mean she could do specials, for Christmas and stuff.

I'm pretty sure she will not end the show as it will disappoint too many fans. However, although Catherine Tate is a hilarious woman, the show was getting less funnier and boring.
