Chicken Campaign

If you were horrified at last night's programme called Jamie's Fowl Dinners then you might like to sign up to this website to help put a stop to chickens that are treated badly.

I saw Hughs chicken run, that was dreadful the conditions they keep them in, i dont no how people can treat animals the way they do its disgusting, i was much happier when the free range chickens were slaughtered because they had a good life.

Oooooh I posted a thread about Hugh's show.

We've made a choice to reduce our chicken intake in our house and instead of having cheap chicken 3 times a week we will only have it once but buy a free range bird. Red Moon cooked our first free ranger last sunday and it was so tasty that its worth the extra pennies.

Its my turn to cook our second one tonight!

Plus we've been emailing supermarkets to make them aware that treating chickens the way they are atm is wrong and barbaric

I'm glad that you've started eating free range chicken. My Mum tried to cook me a Birds Eye chicken & vegetable pie last night. It went straight in the bin. There's no way i'm touching that **** again. I'd rather know that the chicken had a happy life.

Its funny because everyone thinks that Free Range chicken is a lot more expensive but it works out at roughly 70p per kilo extra. Which isnt that much to be fair. We can get a free range chuck at asda for a family of 5 for just under £4.

My family always tries to buy free-range when we can.

However, if I am served a battery-farmed chicken, I'll still eat it. I'm just thankful that I have a meal to eat...
