Hmmmm......that's a tough one.

Lauren 22-01-2008 07:16 PM

As in most expensive or sentimental?

Mrluvaluva 22-01-2008 07:19 PM

Good point Loz.

Kaz 22-01-2008 07:28 PM

I am envious.

Kaz 22-01-2008 07:36 PM

Was a big decision, Baz ..... keep our savings and keep paying the mortgage for another 18 months, or use the savings to pay off the mortgage and start saving again ........

Did our sums and reckoned in the long run we'd end up around £800 better off, so bit the bullet and did it.

Scary .................. but it's done now! :spin2:

Lauren 22-01-2008 07:36 PM

Monetary-wise - My new flat. I don't actually own it, but the rent is pretty high and eats up a large proportion of my student loan. For things I actually own though - probably my laptop or LCD TV.

Sentiment-wise - My koala bear teddy from when I was younger. When my mum was put in hospital for a few weeks I gave her it to 'look after her' haha, and she said it helped her through it cos she thought of me the whole time.
And it's just nice.

Brave decision Kaz, but I bet it was worth it. Why pay them the interest?

Money-wise, it'd be a gold bracelet my mum bought me, which cost £300. I'd say this computer but it doesn't belong to just me.

I don't know what I could possibly say which has more sentiment than others...no like family heirlooms or anything. I'd probably say my cat. :)

BigSister 22-01-2008 07:55 PM

money wise: my labtop
Sentimental wise: either my 2 rings from my 21st or 18th or one of my teddies

Mrluvaluva 22-01-2008 07:57 PM

I have an original painting by Vincent Spain which is worth a few hundred quid.

My most sentimental posession is a photo of my mum I keep in my wallet.

Sunny_01 22-01-2008 08:02 PM

dearest thing hmm well in terms of money it has to be my house.

Sentiment wise, well I have a couple of things, one is a photo of my grandad who died shortly after it was taken, he looks so happy on it at a family party. The other is like Kaz my engagement ring, I have an "upgrade" that my hubby bought me for our 10th wedding anniversary which is very flash but I will always love the one he got for me when he asked me to marry him.

Sentimental : My dogs or my teddies ( plural =D )

Tom 22-01-2008 09:10 PM

Dearest thing is my multigym which cost just edging on to £1k.

Most sentimental thing is a passport size photo of me as a baby with my nana. She was getting her passport photos done and decided to drag me in for a picture :spin2:

Xander 22-01-2008 09:20 PM

Money wise, my house and my flat.

Sentiment wise, memories of my dad.

FictitiousHouse 27-01-2008 06:43 PM

Our house, when myself and my wife have paid the mortgage off which will take another 12 years I think. Apart from that, probably our car. Anything else we own is worth very little, we dont even buy designer label clothing :spin:
