i think britney should of been nominated for a Grammy and Brit Award ' Best international act' i mean her album was one of the best in 2007 and sold really well EVERYWHERE i think its unfair that she has been snubbed.

But I doubt she'd turn up, and she needs the space really.

peoople should only be nominated for music and for nothing else and Gimmm More was defo one of the best pop songs of 07 soo i agree she should pf been nominated.

exactly gimme was a great song its big in the clubs... if she was nomminated i think she would of gone her album is great and deserves reconition.

Her album only sold about 100,000 over here, that's minor compared to other acts.

Nobody's doubting it wasn't a great album, everyone has their opinion anyway. But if you had respect and don't want to make her life worse then she shouldn't of been nominated, which is good for both Britney and the award shows as they don't want to be responsible if she makes a mockery of herself.

Maybe later this year she'll get the awards she deserves, and before any Grammy/Brits etc, the biggest award she can get right now is her kids.

yeah of course thats what i want for her the most.

i have been a britney fan since she started and just think she deserves reconition for this brilliant album.

Her comeback did better than Kylie freaking Minogue. Most of her singles did better than a lot of people nominated. She won't turn up, obviously, but recognition would be appreciated.

It's still circulating the charts, and has been in the top 40 since October. It's gradually selling more, and seeing as it only sold 30,000k in its first week, that's pretty impressive.

I don't think the album was that great. She has had much better songs in the past. I only liked one song on the entire album. Her voice is nothing special, and yes, she is a performer but that argument is void on this occasion because of her performance at the VMAs. She hasn't been on form in the past year imo, and that's me judging solely on her music.

Besides, I doubt these awards are a priority for her at the moment...

i mean kylies getting nominated for a very DULL album i think she is only getting these awards because what happened to her imo.... her comeback has been a flop her own show flopped her album didnt do great the only good thing is her tour... Blackout was 100 times better then X

I preferred X to Blackout personally.
Kylie's voice didn't sound like it'd been manipulated by a gazillion machines, and I preferred the songs.

I haven't heard Kylie's album, but I prefer vocal talent to a heavily-produced voice so by the sounds of this post I'd probably prefer Kylie's album if I listened to it.
