Could Eva Be Killing Anymore Animals?

We know it's cold at the moment Eva but honestly – could you get ANY more dead animal on your back if you tried? First of all there's that hideous coat, then a massive snake skin bag that must have taken about 50 of the things to make. Not only is it not very nice for them there animals, but it also makes you look like a 73-year-old woman on her way to the shops. And we’re not entirely sure why she’s looking so smug?

If she didn't buy them, someone else would. She's not personally killing the animals and they're going to die for fashion regardless.

They were still bought for her. They will still continue to be bought if she continues to wear them. You cant say 'Just one is nto going to make a difference' or 'its going to happen anyway' , because you can always multiply that statement to fit the masses. Its the same thing with global warming, with people saying 'well what difference are my going to make'.

Well, I personally have gone environmentally friendly in the last year and look - global warming is still happening. Just a crude example of how if I personally continued having a big foot of a carbon footprint - things would be the same. It's a shame that the statement is multiplied to the masses but once again, I can't change the mind of the masses and so the problem will always exist.

But you stopped right? What if millions of others have the same attitude? Going the opposite way about things aint gonna convince anybody.

Lauren 02-02-2008 10:38 AM

Going the positive way about things doesn't convince anybody either, though.

Of course it does. If nobody recycled , everybody would justify themselves by pointing out that if nobody does it , then why should they?
