GTA III - Donald Love\'s disappearance explained
 

As you know the GTA III Liberty City had to change many things due to 9/11.


One thing was a mission to crash a plane into Donald Love's building, killing him, but then 9/11 happened and the Dodo's wings where clipped (making it next to impossible to fly and Donald Love just myteiously disappeared).

Never knew that. I do know there was supposed to be terrorist missions to be handed out from a guy called 'Darko' or something like that in portland tunnel.
