Amy Winehouse for Bond movie Amy Winehouse is in the running to sing and write the new James Bond theme – but only if she stays off drugs for two months. Winehouse, who is still battling drug addiction in a north London clinic, must still be clean by April to be in with a chance of making the record. A source told the The Sun: “That’s when the Bond people make a final decision on who sings the theme. If Amy is clean then, it’s hers.” The insider added the new Bond film, 'Quantum Of Solace', would have a “dark and moody" feel so it would fit Winehouse’s music perfectly. Original article here |

Yeah I heard Amy Winehouse was supposed to be doing it a while ago, but because of her troubles Leona was going to do it. But haven't heard anything since.

I like Duran Durans song 'A View to a kill', probably my best one. I think Amy or Muse would be a good choice, they are both very good performers but will they come up with the right song

Oh yeah, I also heard Beyonce is going to duet with Shirley Bassey for it. I don't know what to believe really.

I heard HIM are doing it too, as well as the other rumours about Amy, Leona and Muse. And that's the first time I've heard of Beyonce and Shirley Bassey. ^ Everyone and their mother has been lined up for the role, it seems.
