I just downloaded it, but dont really know much about it?

What can I make? Can i do animated avatars?

Literally, you can only edit pics and make anything thats not animated probably. I dunno, I use photoshop.

Oh i used to use gimp

bu ti also had to use something called unfreeze or something i cant remember

GIMP is actually almost as powerful as photoshop if used correctly.
Animation is possible, I can't remember how but I remember an optimize as gif option somewhere.

for animation I just use photoshop and an array of others if I'm doing avatars.

Well its programs I use and not a site, but I'm only saying that use photoshop wont
