Completely copying BB7?

I find it amusing that most seem to be treating this twist as an original ploy in bb9 usa to have them playing in couples, however, if you look back to bb7, it was there were we actually saw this type of play begin, with the special best friends week were the housemates were up for nomination together and evicted together. However, ive only ever seen bbuk, so may be mistaken.

Correction: BB6USA also was played in pairs. And that was before BB7.

:)

Who have been evicted together in season 6 ? I don't think any of them.

No, but they each had a partner in the house. If both partners made it to the final, The winner would get $1 million (or something like that) and the 2nd place winner would get $250,000

obviously that falied.

My question is, could someone copy themselves?

Yes I know I have watched season 6 Rory lol
db12, the concept of couples has been instaured since season 4 with ex-partners, in season 5 with the twins and the brother-sister twist, in season 6 by the pairs, in season 8 with the ennemies.
So BB9 doesn't claim an original twist about pairs but about "finding your soulmate", something who has never been instaured before.
And it's the first time, those pairs will nominate together and being evicted together.

I could say that this goes all the way back to Big Brother 2003 (series 4) with the X-Factor. I must say, there was a real split in Big Brother US after the studio switch in BB6. BB5 was the last of the good seasons. Even BB4 was better than this. Now it's come to be this over-twisted, copy-cat, we-do-this-because-BB-"fans"-want-to-see-fame-hungry-*****s-on-TV show.

BB4 was incredibly booooooring, and I don't even talk about the winner.
But I agree, I think theys hould stop the "season" twist for series 10. Put 14 strangers in and let the game play....but with some twists of course !

What about BB6? That was probably the best season after 2 and 3. Lots of tension, lots of great housemates and a twist that wasn't too over-the-top. Plus it had Janelle of course.

I enjoyed All-Stars too, but mainly because of Chilltown.

I didn't like BB4 (Alison made it watchable though) or BB5 (Diane and Jase made it watchable though). I thought BB5 was too 'Jerry Springer'.
