Marc And Cerys\' Jungle Fever Over?
Marc Bannerman has allegedly been dumped by Cerys Matthews. She apparently got bored with the relationship and dumped the former EastEnder two days before Valentine's Day. They were one of the big stories to come out of I'm A Celebrity 2007; millions watched them flirt live on TV, including Bannerman's former girlfriend Sarah Matravers. But now it's over.
Marc's mother Dolores Noronha told the Sunday Mirror: "It's finished with Cerys. He's very upset, very down." It seems Cerys now wishes to focus on her music career. A source revealed to the newspaper: "The passion fizzled out and they've hardly seen each other in the last month. She realised the relationship was going nowhere and wants to concentrate on her tour, so she told Marc they were finished." In an interview at the end of last year, Cerys' ex-boyfriend Seth Riddle reportedly said: "She rushes into everything - she did the same thing with me. She's the sort of person who's prone to changing her mind a lot."
It was all so different just a couple of months ago. When Marc got booted out of the jungle, he admitted his feelings saying: "I have fallen hook, line and sinker. I am in love with two people, what a prat." Cerys also acknowledged that she had fallen for Marc; she pointed to her heart and said: "my chest hurts".
