Moving Wallpaper saved!! Echo Beach not so much
 

MOVING Wallpaper is staying put – thanks to TV Biz.

ITV chiefs decided NOT to axe the show after our page on Saturday begged for it to be saved.

Now Ben Miller who plays maverick producer Jonathan Pope, will return for a second series.

But it’s not such great news for Echo Beach – the soap “made” during behind-the-scenes sitcom Moving Wallpaper.

It will be back, but in a far smaller form.

A source says: “Moving Wallpaper is returning. We made the call to Kudos Productions on Saturday after reading TV Biz. But we’re not sure what will happen to Echo Beach. It will either have a few episodes or run on the internet.”

Not surprised MW has been saved it has had ok ratings, I think it will be moved to a 10pm slot when it returns. I can't see Echo Beach returning unless ITV2 pick it up

It really should have been on ITV2, or at least have been made more serious like a drama/soap. People didn't really get it.

Aye Echo Beach was more of a trashy ITV2 programme

It's quite ironic that the show that was deemed "pointless" before it aired actually became more successful.

I wouldmuch rather it if it never came back. I think its rubbish... Sorry...

Think I'll have to watch the second series seeing as I missed the first one. Although I've no idea how I missed it considering the amount it was advertised. :joker:

I'll have to watch the second series seeing as I missed the first one, and I have recorde it in my DVR (chinablueangel), and can watch it everyday!
