Have you been on TV?

Simple, Have you, or somebody that you know, been on TV?

Magic 08-03-2008 02:45 PM

My Dad went on TV:AM or something called something like that. It was the old GMTV I think, when he was injured.

And I have been on the news twise when we flooded (Local only though I think)

MarkWaldorf 08-03-2008 02:46 PM

I went to the BBC Studios and filmed a whole episode for the CBBC's XChange a few years ago. It was a longgg day lol. I saw the TOTP studios and watched some of the presenters doing live TV.

Blue Peter for 'cool kids'

It always came on in the school holidays but when CBBC channel launched I think it went on there every day

It was presented by Holly Willoughby <3 Not on her own. There were about 50 million different presenters most eventually becoming CBBC presenters. Remembered a few others, there was that Otis, and her who sung Mickey about 10 years ago and that woman off Saturday Show Extra.

I've been in the background of celebrity spotting on FNP (not actually on it) and on local news  Oh and Channel M but its more a question of who from round here hasn't been on that.

Conor 08-03-2008 04:55 PM

I've been in camera shots for a few seconds at athletic events and I remember a few years, I got to say something on the sports news about my Dad running at the oylimpics when he was being interviewed for UTV Sport. And I think I got on Mega once in Greece when I was in Crete, because I purposly walked past part of the Greek Oylimpic team while being interviewed lol

Callum 08-03-2008 04:55 PM

No I haven't. But my uncle has been on a show called "Wanted Down Under" and the whole show was on my uncle, aunty, and my 2 cousins as they were moving to Australia. They now live there... =D

Your thinking of 'ShortChange'

xXxCharlottexXx 08-03-2008 07:26 PM

I've been on tv twice for like 5 seconds!
The first time was when they were filming something at my primary school.
The second time was at BBC prom in the park.
I was in the audience

Shaun 08-03-2008 07:32 PM

Erm...the local news a couple of times because our school has stuff happening often.

Obv. Emily was on TV and if you don't know when, you haven't been on the forum for the past 6 months...

Nothing national for me, though, I don't think

ShortChange had 3 of the same presenters and the same colour scheme in the titles and set so I can see why

Christina 08-03-2008 08:22 PM

I was going to be on GMTV my next door neighbour is a primary school teacher and she was campaigning about how long it takes for children to get to school (she wanted schools closer). So she organised the GMTV crew to follow me to my primary school (i was in year 6 at the time) to see how long it took and they were going to interveiw me on the way. But she cancelled it (not sure why). But i was in the background for one of the Dick and Dom in da bungalow scenes, It was being filmed at the Lido swimming pool and i was with my friend in the back lol. x

Lauren 09-03-2008 01:34 AM

Yes I have.

Oh the SHAME!
I'm on again soon... and I'm more smiley and better this time, but they haven't rang me with the air date yet, should be soon though!

Shaun 09-03-2008 01:42 AM

I think the subject title for that particular show fits you well, Lauren. It sounds like something you'd say.

Not that I even know you.

Well THAT attempted bitchy/witty comment failed.

*exits stage left*

Edit:

Bitchy / Witty = Bitty? Witchy?
