Speeding!

Just a minute ago, I caught in my ponies from the field. To get them back to my house, where their stables are I have to lead them along a small country road.

Anyway, today, as it was windy they were very crazy, so it was hard enough leading them back as it was, but then, A car came speeding down the road! When he saw us, he made no attempt to slow down, and sped by! I say he was going over 70MPH! How Ignorant! Luckily, noone was hurt, but had my ponie spooked out by another few cm, then its legs would proberly be broken, meaning it would have to be put down!

I suppose I should be thankfull, but god how ignorant our peopl! :mad:

thank god yoour pony wasent on the road.i hate people who speed(especialy taxi drivers)

It was on the road! And he would of been hit if he jumped out by a few more cm!

It was scary! The driver looked quite young, and only a week ago (First time in about five years) a car was burnt out along one of the tracks

(I always moan on here about where I live! lol)

Use the pavement. There are no fast moving vehicles to run (or scare) your lovely ponies on there. Also members of the public can stroke the ponies as they pass by.

I live in the country - its a rural one way round, with no pavements.

And even If i did, i dont think that would be very safe!

The ponies wouldn't care one way or another. Just let the ponies tread where they may. Mr and Miss person can walk on the kerb

just some advice - the way you bold some words is very amm.. imtimadating and it could pee people of very easily because theyl think your treating them like a child,even though your probobaly not.no offence

And I think the ponies wouldnt like being lead along a Pavement (If their was one) in a built up area!

Don't feel intimidated by a simple word written in bold. It won't jump up and bite you, "or anyone else". I promise.

I was pulling you chain, "dear boy". No pavement means no kerb. A child or an adult could work that one out.

Ponies will walk anywhere you walk. Unless you can understand pony language, "which I doubt", so in that case, you don't know.

Well I have been brought up with ponies since I was born.

And trust me, dear child, they do not "Walk anywhere you walk" :thumbs:

Ponies are wonderful, I am sure you have enjoyed a lot of time in their company and cleaned up their feces.

Trust me when I tell you, Ponies will walk on the pavement and the road. Yours or mine.

I never said they wouldnt.

And I have enjoyed them, I have been to HOYS twise, and am reprented the south west in team last year!
