It wasn\'t that boring
 

I have been rewatching BB4 and it isnt the most interesting series every but it not as boring as everyone makes out.

I think people are just the harsh on this series

i agree. same as BB8. while they weren't the greatest ever series'.... they were still BB and god damn it... i still loved them! :dazzler:

I watched a few episodes of it last week, it was really boring and not at all entertaining I really don't know how I was addicted to it when it was on.

The guy from BB Africa was the only good thing about it.

I always think that, but then I rewatch it.

The HL shows were filled sith so many clips of the housemates cleaning, sunbathing, and talking rubbish.

The problem was it was after BB1, 2, and 3 which alot of people love and considered the best. BB4 came along and didn't live up to the previous series expectations. The, to make it look even worse again it was sqaushed behind BB5 and BB6. It was produced well, there were a few massive twists, but just not the right housemates or living conditions :(

Still, better than the series 8 unwatchable monstrosity.

If BB4 was the first BB then It would of been seen as amazing

-All nice people
-Too friendly,
-Cheesy at some point,
-1 or 2 arguments,
-Terrible winner,
-Lame twists.

I think I sum up what I was thinking about that, for me it was boring, no drama, no action, just cleaning and sunbathing.

But if you give me the choice to watch BB7 or BB4 then I take BB4.

I dont think its as bad as people make it

Probably. Most first editions of shows are seen as amazing and groundbreaking.

But Big Brother 1 is considered a really good series amonst most fans who have watched from the start. Thats the main reason I brought that point up.

I'm watching it now - it's a great series!

Old thread - but I have to agree I enjoyed this when it aired as everyone and their dog were still watching it at this point (and still would for the following series). The people in it were nice and I could relate to them more than the previous or following series - they were everyday people you wouldn't mind talking to. Cameron was a worthy winner.

Maybe they just didn't have as good tasks - which was what they were supposed to do anyway as it was about bringing the show back to basics. Completely the opposite of course to series 5 with it's publicly humiliating and intimidating tasks that showed us Big Brother can just be another trashy show and not a insightful look to the everyday life of people. Don't get me wrong, it was still good television - it's just not something I would think about signing up for. I wouldn't mind living in the BB4 house, but BB5? No way! If only the show at least had another Nick that would do something on the same level he did to make the series interesting. Face it, BB1 would be nothing without the Nick scandal.

Or maybe it's just the rose-tinted glasses talking.

BBCH was one of the best series of all time :nono: It's the only series where I literally liked everyone. Seriously underrated it is.

Yes that was absolutely appalling too. I wouldn't watch that or BB4 again in a zillion years.:sleep:

it was the last BB that wasn't full of crazy nuts and wannabe be page 3 models. Its a far better series then BB8,9 and 11 for me. The probelm was they got along with each other and were allowed to bring in Books so they could go off and read and didn't need to speak one another. I think it had a great Live feed that keeps it from going downhill as Ray and Scott had some funny conversations that were mind blowing,
