Holiday Ideas?!
:wavey:
Hi all! I just wanted some info about holidays:thumbs2: really and thought you guys would be the people to ask!:spin: Basically Me and my friend are planning on going away in August for a week!:cheer2: we have no idea:shrug: where to go and have looked through some brochures and online etc but still haven't found the right place for us! We are looking for somewhere hot, with sea and sand in walking distance, shops, resturants in walking distance too! we dont want all the nightlife clubs etc:bored: we just want a relaxing holiday with maybe some activites nearby e.g tennis, gym, etc! if u no anywhere that matches this for a good price please post and let me no!:thumbs: |
Personally, I don't think a forum is the right place for this type of question. Everyones experience and tastes are different and not enough background info may be produced.
Anyway, I'd recomend Dubia. Massive nightlife, luxurious, stunning buildings and lots of hopsitality. Failing that, If you like clubbing and all that, Malia in Crete. Not for a week though really :( Oh and steer clear of the 'Spanish Package holiday thing' I've never been, but what I've saw on TV/ A neighbours experience is enough to put anyone of. |
thanks:kiss:

i LOVE Gran Canaira.. its a canary island and a part of spain with a north african climate.. it was 38'c when i was there in summer last year, it really beautiful and if you go to the town of Puerto Rico everything you'd possibly need is in the valley.. i love it there...

You see I hate Gran Canaria, it is awful and didnt tick any of my boxes at all! see we all like something different lol.
I like Alcudia in Majorca, I also like Turkey you can get some great deals to Turkey at the minute. You can make of any holiday what you want it to be. If you wanted somewhere in Turkey I would recommend Gumbet, it is not quite as big as some of the other towns and a little more relaxed when it comes to shopping. You will get loads of deals in terms of clothes if you go to Turkey, I took a nearly empty case last time I went  |

I recommend one of the greek islands, having been there three times your almost guarenteed sunshine everyday in July/August. I also do like quiet relaxing holidays and the hotels I went to were exactly that.
But some of the beaches are pebbly, but thats only a few of them. |

I guess it's different when your staying with relations who know just as much about there, and have a car, and can get anywhere easily, and know tonnes of islanders as we do the UK though. |
totaly changing the subject but i LOVE New York City !!! i went in october 06.. id go back anyday !
