Just a few things I thought I'd ask about torrents as I'm gonna try and watch a good bit of BBAU this year.

This is all for Minova:

First of all, what are seeds and leechers and do I want lots of each and very litte?

Next, will it be slower if say 10 000 people have downloaded it over 1000 and can there be viruses included if lots of people have downloaded?

What are the risks of getting a virus? Could I be able to tell myslef or are there tell tale signs?

What size should a roughly 1hr video be, and will it take ages to download?

You want more seeders than leechers ideally.

Normally if there are a large amount of people that have downloaded a file its normally safer and it does not affect the speed.

Well on other torrent sites like isohunt the top downloads normally have green for it being given a good rating and red for bad rating. I have never come across a virus but i suppose you just know if it looks a dodgy file and make sure you have your anti virus software on.

What size should a roughly 1hr video be, and will it take ages to download?

Depends on your interenet connection for me it would take around 1 - 2hours but thats being on a very fast connection.

No problem if your happy using minova then thats fine but also try and use different sites as well.

Big Brother Australia usually has daily shows around 30 minutes, so that'll be about 200MB, so that shouldn't take very long. It really depends on your internet speed or how many people are seeding.

The evictions/launch are quite long, so it'll be around 500MB which may take longer to download. But again it depends on the seeders.

I never knew BBAU had daily shows, in that case I probally won't bother downloading the torrents.
Tip: The more seeders, the quicker it'll take to download :)
