Alton Towers! I live fairly near and have visited a couple of times though so I'm biased.

*mazedsalv** 29-04-2008 05:28 PM

GARDALAND

In North Italy, It's amazing!!!!

Sarah. 29-04-2008 05:32 PM

Alton Towers without a doubt. It has the best coaster ever, Nemesis. xD
I live about 1hr and 30 minutes away but I go as often as possible, which is like 5-10 times a season. But soon, I'm getting an annual pass so i'll be there a lot

*mazedsalv** 29-04-2008 05:37 PM

Thorpe Park has Nemesis too. Ooh thats my fave ride there, its absloloutley amazing!

Sam! 29-04-2008 05:45 PM

Parc Astrix (Just outside Paris) is pretty amazing. A flawless easy to navigate around plan, amazing rides (Half the rides are in water/go underwater/soak you completley) its fast que's, good places to eat, its built really well and it all looks real rather than a big kinda set (better than Euro Disneys construction) all rides are unique and cater for people all ages... could go on forever!

Riz 29-04-2008 05:59 PM

I think if you love your rides its alton towers, but as its so far away thorpe park is excellent :) xx

Not a theme park but a Water Park in the island of Sicily. Its called AquaPark(used to be called Europark). Its amazing!!

Phantasialand in Germany is AMAZING lol. Also, DisneyLand Florida of course and Pleasure Beach, Blackpool is quite good too =D

x.Nicola.x 29-04-2008 07:47 PM

Blackpool Pleasure Beach for me, it's not that far away from me so I can go quite alot. I'll be there on Sunday aslong as the weather stays nice. I love the Valhalla ride!

Sarah. 29-04-2008 07:53 PM

Yeah Blackpool is awesome. Got some great rides, personally I love Infusion and Grand National. Some of the rides are a little rough though, lol. Never been on the Big One, I'm too scared to go on something that high! haha.

I went to Alton towers but picked a really bad/busy day and only managed to go on four rides, what a waste of money (not to mention the long journey)

We got some special offer tickets so I suppose thats why it was so busy. We were less than happy + I nearly shat myself with fear waiting to go on Oblivion

You have to plan when you go carefully. The first time I went I got on 4 rides too, but on other days, I've been on like 33 rides.

MR.K! 29-04-2008 08:29 PM

Busch Gardens Tampa. Universal Studios Orlando/Califonia. Islands of Adventure Orlando. Sea World Orlando. All Disney parks obviously. Erm..that about it for America. Drayton Manor Alton Towers are ok but it's England I suppose.

But my favourite theme parks have to be:
All of the Disney parks(Its my dream to be Mickey Mouse one day pmsl)
Universal/Islands of Adventures
Busch Gardens- Absolutly LOVE Sheikra!!
Seaworld(which is opening a brand new flying coaster in 2009! Cant Wait!!!)

Just a short list, I could go on and on lol:bouncy:

Thorpe Park, been on everything there and it's getting better. I remeber when it use to be all about chessington and thorpe park was for the little kids, now it's the complete opposite.
