We were just mentioned on Digital Spy. It was about VOG announcing the info on here. Does TIBB have some sort of rivalary with DS or something?

Yeah I was just reading it on there, they don't seem to like TiBB

When they mentioned TIBB, someone posted "Eww TIBB" and another person said it was "crap".

The mind boggles it really does.

I loathe DS. I used to read it daily and prefer DSBB over TIBB but lately the mods are on such an unbelievable power trip banning people for ridiculous things and most of the posters couldn't get any further up their own arses if they tried. You can't have as much of a personality on there and I think the forum is too big to keep a track of everyone.

Let them say what they like TBH. I mean i personally don't think its mature to say "EWW TiBB" is it?

There's no rivalry as far as I am concerned, I've never even spoken to anyone from their site.

Ignore the ageist remarks, its a trait common amongst internet forums. Nobody thought TiBB would ever take off the way it did when I started it, because I was 15 at the time, but I think it's turned out just fine :wavey:

A lot of DS people read TiBB but never register or post, I know that for a fact... but of course that's their choice :spin2:

... and you probably don't mind whether they register or not because the more visitors to TiBB in the first place then the more Google Ads money for you :joker:

Google ads work pretty awfully on forums, and make basically no money. For them to be somewhat successful I would need to plaster them all over the forum, and I don't want to do that because a) people don't like them everywhere and b) they clutter the layout a lot.

Guests have an extra one at the top, but it disappears once you register.

I sometimes browse the DS, but there all sound so so boring on there, much prefer Tibb :bigsmile:

i used to, lie many others on here, read DS:BB but TiBB feels alot more like a forum 'home' as such.

here you can talk about other things aswell on there it is just boring

TiBB is much better, I used to really like DS but now I think its boring but on here its much more friendly and just better.

DS users look on here for any news they may not know of as we regularly get news in first on here. :tongue: Tongues are wagging over there now after the post by VOG.

I really hate DS. The members are always nasty and are never done stagging of, the forum feels big and unfriendly and overall very dull. Although I occasionally visit and lurk around.

I also find it strange that on that particular thread Jonnfon (A member who has posted quite a bit here) is slagging it off the most, prehaps someone should remind him infront of everyone else about his membership here :wink:
