Does anyone now what Benefit Entitlement are there for part-time workers
I'm working 17.5 hours a week, and live independently, I tried applying for Working Tax credit but I was declined a claim because for you to be elligeable, you need to be 16 or over, supporting a child, you need to have disability and have none of those, last option is you need to be 25 years old working 30 hours a week.
I didn't qualify for any of those, is there any other benefit entitlement for part time workers who live independently? |
How old are you?
TBH I dont know much about this but there are other forum members who will know. They'll be on soon and I'm sure they'll be happy to help. |

I think it will depend on the number of hours you do and how much you earn.
Here is a LINK to the DWP websdite. Maybe there is something on here to help |

I am not sure if you will get any benefits as such but if you rent you should be able to get help from the local authority with rent and council tax.
Your best bet is to make an appointment with a benefits adviser at either your local benefits office or job centre. |
Sunny works in this field. Her advice will be sound. Thanks Sunny.
