EE deserved to win this year, Corrie had a crap year last year, Emmerdale was just rubbish

Hollyoaks did very well, they deserve all the awards they get.

Glad EE got best soap it has been so much better than Corrie.

Corrie is good its just the whole cancellation of last years blockbuster storyline (about Freddie's kidnap) we where left with a long drawn out love triangle

I didn't think Hollyoaks would of won the most awards because it doesn't have as many viewers as the other soaps. I'm glad it did so well because its the only soap which all year round is really good.

Hollyoaks is very well written in my opinion

Maybe it will swap place with Emmerdale in the big 3

Corrie did well considering it's been having a bit of dry patch.

Brilliant for Hollyoaks. Well deserved - should be best soap too IMO, but though I don't watch from what I get from the TV mags for the first time in years I'm not angry that EE has won - it seems to have been improving.

I think Hollyoaks is highly over rated and personally can't see why people would find it enjoyable.

I don't like it when people tally up the results for each soap to potentially show which one is better because I feel that some of the awards should be based solely on one person, for example, best actor/actress.

I wouldn't credit Corrie for sexiest male obviously, best newcomer, best comedy preformance or lifetime achievement award as they are awards for the actors/actresses. Villian of the year I would credit partially to the whole of corrie as obviously, they wrote the character/storylines but the portrayal by jack would also contribute.

I wouldn't credit EE for both dramatic performance awards as they are down to jo and jamie. However, obviously the whole crew get credit for being best british soap and all involved in stax because the writers, directors, actors/actresses etc all contribute.

Obviously all involved in Emmerdale Daniel episode get credit, writers, actors/actresses etc. Line producer (wot does that actually do?!)

I wouldn't credit Hollyoaks for best actor/actress as that was down to emma and chris, neither on screen partnership as that was down to the great chemistry between matt and darren. Sexiest female, obviously all roxanne, but the other two gain credit from all involved in that great storyline and lead up to quote 'spectacular' exit as it really was, even hannah (katy) was good but i suppose she didnt talk much!

So if I were to tally up the awards each soap got which i would credit to the soap itself:

Corrie - 1
EE - 2
Emmerdale - 1 possibly 2 if i knew wot a producer did
Hollyoaks - 2

ho is teh best soap. its funny & dramatic & sexy. it deserved it!!! im dead pleased michelle keegan won best newcomer and emma rigby won best actress she is an amazing actress.

Glad to see Hollyoaks get the recognition it so richly deserves.

Hollyoaks I think now has become my fave soap.

and my second fave, I dumped Emmerdale

I watched it last night, it was great to see Hollyoaks win the most awards some people looked shocked when Hollyoaks was winning them.
